jpnn.com, JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the Friends of the Indonesian Police (SPI) Fonda Tangguh succeeded in getting an Honoris Causa doctorate from the Institute Educando Para a Paz Brazil.

This honorary title was immediately given to Fonda Tangguh during a procession which took place last Friday (24/5).

“Thank God, I was awarded the honor of Honoris Causa from the Institute Educando Para a Paz Brazil. "Thank you for the trust and support given to me by all parties in carrying out many activities in the fields of law, culture and humanity," said Fonda Tangguh shortly after the title handing ceremony.

Fonda explained that he received this title because his work in the fields of law and humanity was considered to have made significant contributions and developments.

Although he also admitted that all his activities and actions were never intended to gain recognition and respect from any party.

"I personally express my gratitude to the Institute Educando Para a Paz Brazil for their appreciation. "Hopefully in the future, I will be able to make a more real and bigger contribution to society and the Republic of Indonesia in the future," said Fonda.

Fonda emphasized that this honorary title would be a motivation to continue to take part and play a better role in society.

He admitted that this title also came from the prayers and messages of his late mother (Hj.Iis Sundari bin Haji Dania) who always reminded him to always share benefits with others.

“This title is also a miracle from the prayers of my mother who has fought hard and supported me all this time. "God willing, I will continue to try to do my best for the sake of the nation and humanitarian activities," stressed Fonda.
